Role Overview

Media Bar Productions, LLC is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Professional Video Editor to join our team on a contract basis. As a key contributor to our video production process, you will be responsible for crafting engaging, high-quality video content that meets client needs and aligns with our creative vision. The ideal candidate has a strong eye for storytelling, proficiency in industry-standard editing software, and the ability to manage multiple projects with precision and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities 📋

Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, high-quality videos, ensuring seamless storytelling and visual appeal.
Incorporate b-roll, motion graphics, color correction, and sound design to enhance video content.
Work collaboratively with producers, directors, and clients to execute creative visions and meet project goals.
Manage multiple editing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality.
Apply advanced video editing techniques, including transitions, effects, and compositing, to create engaging content.
Optimize videos for different platforms (web, social media, broadcast) while maintaining brand consistency.
Review and implement client feedback, making necessary revisions to align with their expectations.
Ensure proper organization and archiving of all video assets and project files.

Required Qualifications 🎓

3+ years of professional video editing experience in a fast-paced production environment.
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, and other Adobe Products.
Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and visual composition.
Experience with color grading, audio mixing, and motion graphics.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Preferred Skills ⭐

Background in cinematography or familiarity with camera equipment and footage formats.
Knowledge of video compression, export settings, and delivery formats.
Previous work in corporate, commercial, or documentary-style editing.
